Where
new meets seamlessly with the best of the old.
Homework Remodels is
proud to be one the Valley's first remodelers to be certified by
the Environmental Protection Agency to perform lead safe work practices
in older homes with lead paint.

As of April 22nd the EPA requires anyone working
for compensation in homes built prior to 1978 to become certified
in lead safe work practices. All work for compensation disturbing
lead paint is now to be performed to the EPA standards or risk major
fines and /or jail time. The regulations also apply to landlords
working on or hiring work done to their rental property.
Homework remodels has always worked hard to operate with clean work
sites with minimum dust exposure to our clients and their homes.
We are pleased with the new higher EPA standards for work in older
homes. The new federal regulations will insure that everyone working
in older homes will be required to protect their clients from the
health issues of lead exposure from lead paint.
We urge all homeowners to follow lead safe work practices during
work they do themselves and insist that anyone else working in your
home do the same.
Our recent EPA training classes have illustrated to us that lead
dust exposure needs to be taken seriously as a health risk our clients
and our craftsmen. Please join us in working to make our homes a
safer place by respecting the dangers of lead paint in our older
homes when you remodel.

on your home visit these informative web sites www.leadfreekids.org
